General information;

They are light! wood rings are light especially compared to metal types.

I tend to find rings over a width of 5mm are more comfortable a next size or two up, please try to get your ‘ring’ finger sized at least twice if possible during a day and a couple of times during a week or so as fingers sizes change.

The ring made for you will last a long time, however my advice is to use and wear the ring normally (enjoy it!) but remove it at times of heavy lifting, physical workouts, swimming and the like – they are strong but not the same as metal rings.

The finish used is applied all over the ring and buffed up, although the finish is waterproof but certain chemicals will wear it down such as soaps and detergents, so it’s best to remove the ring at certain times (showering, washing up etc).

A light cloth with a little water can help clean the ring and obviously using abrasives is a not a great idea!

Light scratches are likely to happen (as do all jewellery suffer from) heavier scratches maybe fixed upon returning to me for a visual check and a small cost (mainly post and packaging).

Silver products;

The silver rings made by Meranti Wood Craft and Silver uses 925 Sterling Silver.
All the rings I make are under a specific legal weight of 7.78 grams which do not require a sponsor punch/mark.

Re-Finishing.

Please contact me with details to arrange re-finishing if this is required, prices and shipping costs vary and is the responsibility of the customer.

Guarantee.

All rings are made to the approximate nearest size and checked with a ring mandrel and digital callipers, if you have inadvertently supplied an incorrect size I may be able to reduce or enlarge the ring for you by ½ size UK or ¼ of a size US.

If for some unusual and rare reason the ring is faulty then please let me know as soon as you can, here is a quick run-down of what to do;

  1. Please email me here: [email protected]
  2. If possible, please provide a copy of the receipt with the email.
  3. Do use a delivery return with tracking or at least ‘signed for’ – I’m not responsible for the item until it is received.
  4. Once your ring is received, I’ll acknowledge the arrival via email and then it will be processed within 5 days along with further email updates.

Discounted Replacements.

Although wood is a natural material and needs to be treated with care a wood ring should last a long time, if the ring becomes damaged from wear you can order a replacement (with proof of receipt) at a discount of 40% off the current retail price of the same type and size.
